1. Introduction

Welcome to Kindred Spirit Pet Care. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, located at kindredspiritpetcare.com, and all services we provide. By accessing our website and booking our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our website or services.

2. Services

Kindred Spirit Pet Care provides professional pet care services, including but not limited to:

• Pet Sitting 

• Dog Walking

• Medication administration

All services are subject to a mandatory Meet-and-Greet consultation before commencement to ensure the safety and comfort of your pet and our staff.

3. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and current information about yourself, your pet(s), and your home.

• Disclose any and all behavioral, medical, or temperamental issues your pet(s) may have, including aggression, anxiety, or fear of people, objects, or other animals.

• Ensure your pet(s) are up-to-date on all required vaccinations and are in good health.

• Provide necessary supplies (food, leash, medications, etc.) and clear instructions for your pet’s care.

• Secure your home and provide a safe environment for the pet care provider.

• Provide emergency contact information and your veterinarian's details.

4. Booking, Payment, and Cancellation

• Booking: Services are booked through our website, phone, or email and are confirmed only upon our written confirmation.

• Payment: Payment terms (e.g., due upon booking, due at time of service, weekly) will be specified at the time of booking. We accept [List accepted payment methods, e.g., credit cards, PayPal, etc.].

• Cancellation Policy:

  • Pet Sitting: Cancellations made with less than [e.g., 48 hours] notice may be subject to a [e.g., 50%] charge. Cancellations on or after the start date may be charged the full rate.

  • Dog Walking: Cancellations made with less than [e.g., 24 hours] notice may be charged the full rate.

  • Holidays: A separate, more restrictive cancellation policy may apply for services booked during major holidays.

5. Liability and Assumption of Risk

• While we exercise the utmost care and diligence, Kindred Spirit Pet Care, its employees, and contractors are not liable for any loss, injury, death, or damage to any pet, person, or property while under our care.

• You assume all risk associated with allowing our staff into your home and caring for your pet(s).

• In the event of a medical emergency, we will make a reasonable effort to contact you and your designated emergency contact. If unreachable, you authorize us to seek veterinary care from your listed veterinarian or the nearest available clinic. You agree to be responsible for all related expenses.

6. Emergency Veterinary Care

You authorize Kindred Spirit Pet Care to seek and approve any necessary veterinary treatment for your pet(s) if you cannot be reached. All costs for veterinary care, including transportation, will be the client's responsibility.

7. Photo and Media Release

You grant Kindred Spirit Pet Care the right to take photographs or videos of your pet(s) for our records and for use on our website, social media, and marketing materials. You can opt-out of this by providing written notice.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kindred Spirit Pet Care, its owners, employees, and contractors from any and all claims, damages, costs, or expenses arising from your pet(s)' behavior, your breach of these Terms, or your negligence.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to safety concerns, aggressive pet behavior, or misrepresentation of a pet's health or temperament.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of [Your State], without regard to its conflict of law principles.

11. Changes to Terms
