Martina Muller started Kindred Spirit in 2006 . She was born in Germany ,but taught at the local high school for 13 years and raised a son here in Bend,
She followed her passion and took classes in animal behavior, psychology, massage, and first aid afterward. In her free time she volunteers at Saving Grace, leads hikes and studies Psychology on-line.
She lives in South Bend, where she cares for a few small and elder dogs at her cottage Martina is the"mom" of 2 rescue dogs, who help her run the operation and make her laugh out loud daily .You can reach her at 541-706-1544 .
Neil Wesner is a long time craftsman and friend of Martina's .He is in residence at the cottage for 10 months a year and volunteers with the dogs, taking them on many outings, supervising & loving on them . The remaining months he volunteers for the Oregon State Parks, and travels the West . The dogs and I thank him for his friendship and the many practical little things , he does to make our life better !
ANGELA KAISER assists Martina 2 -3 days a week with our Daycare Groups . Angela is easily the most popular dog parent at Kindred Spirit : as soon as she shows up to pick up her dog Django , the entire little pack races to the fence and tries to jump into her arms. And their intuition is right : Angela is a Vet Tech Assistant, who loves to make sure everyone here is feeling their best . Before she came to live the dream in Oregon , Angela worked as an accountant in CA . We feel so blessed to have Angela complete our team.
