KINDRED SPIRIT “Doggie Camp” (Fees as of 1/1/2012)

Our overnight stays include all of these services:

  • Adventurous daily walk (on or off leash) for 60 min

  • Reinforcement of training as requested by you

  • Accommodations in our home tailored to the needs of your dog

  • Inclusion in our family life and routines

  • Lots of personal attention: cuddles, play time, personalized diet

  • “Camp Journal” telling you of your dog’s adventures and interactions with us here at Kindred Spirit

  • Country-like half acre with gardens and chickens

    • FEES for one dog :

  • $23 for small dogs under 20 lbs,

  • $27 per night for medium sized dogs,

  • $30 for puppies and  for dogs over 90lbs

    • * Long term stays are discounted $2 a day if prepaid and booked a month in advance

    FEES for two dogs from the same family:

  • $45- 49 per night ( depending on your dogs’ needs and size)

    Doggie DayCare :

    *It lasts 8 to 10 hours and includes the long morning hike, snacks and nap time

  • It costs between $20 and $24( punch cards available for our “regulars “)

  • Only for dogs who have had an Intake interview and are planning to board in the future.

    Drop-In  Half Day Daycare is available to our customers , who need  to visit doctors , go shopping etc for $12 a pop . Please call to inquire if space is available

  • Please drop off /pick up your dogs between 7:30 am  and 8:30 am and from 4 pm to 6:30 pm.
  • Please call us when you are on your way so we can relocate our other guest dogs and get everything ready for you.

    • We live in a residential neighborhood so we try to keep barking to a minimum. Thank you for your consideration!

    NEW OPTION: DOGGIE DREAMS
    Has your dog ever dreamt of being completely spoiled and doted on while you have to be away?
    Aunt Ronnie  (our assistant) invites 2 dogs at a time to her home , where she loves to spoil them rotten: They get Puppuccinos, cuddle time in her bed, on- leash walks and only have to share the love and the house with her own two dogs. This service is available at special request and costs $5 more a day than the usuaL KINDRED SPIRIT Camp activities

    Discounts & Surcharges:

    • A $10-20 Discount when you refer a paying client to us
    • Surcharges of $2 a day for puppies or dogs who need training or special medical attention
    • Surcharges may apply for dogs who weigh more than 90 pounds

    A vacation with your dog

    You can rent a small room in our cheerful comfy villa to share with your dog. If you would like to go paddling, skiing or exploring all day, s/he can join our activities for a day care fee. We hope that your dog is well socialized.
    Overnights include a cup of coffee/ tea in the mornings and some fresh laid eggs that you can prepare for yourself.

    • 1 person + 1 dog = $40 a night and a pet deposit
    • 2 people + 1 dog = $60 a night and a pet deposit

    Care in your home:

    Services and rates

    *INTAKE VISIT: $10 (free with booking 10 visits or 3 overnights)

    *Kindred Spirit Basics: 30 min visits for feeding, playtime or short walks, lots of love + attention , basic medication as needed , lights and blinds, mail pick-up, houseplant care, heat control, daily log of chores done and observations made about your pets. $25 per visit, $45 for 2 visits a day. Please be aware that we have to apply a travel charge per visit if you live more than three miles away from our home (60742 Bristol Way) . For list of charges see the bottom of this page.

    *Overnights:$45-65 ( depending on your needs) a night +travel charges

    We spend the night and :

    • cuddle with your pets before we go to bed
    • let them out at night
    • walk them in the morning
    • feed them twice and give medications as needed
    • and leave you a short report
    • care for your plants ,
    • pick up your mail etc.

    * Around the clock: We will add another 20-30 min. visit in the middle of the day. $75 – $80 a day

    OVERNIGHTS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE BY SPECIAL ARRANGEMENT

    DISCOUNTS: $10 for every paying customer you refer to us (will be credited towards your future account)

    TRAVEL CHARGES: There will be a charge for mileage if you live more than 3 miles from our office (we are located in S.E. Bend ,off Knott Road and Country Club Road) . We will use Mapquest to determine the distance to your home.

    Extra travel charges are approximately:
    +$3 to $10 per visit if you live 5-25 miles away

    Sorry, we can not service clients more than 25 miles away unless special arrangements have been made.

    IMPORTANT TERMS:
    For individual visits, half of payment is due before service and the balance at the end of service (payment will be collected by care provider at follow-up). A separate signed and completed service request is due for each service before each service starts. If you retrun earlier than expected and have notified us, we will give you a credit on your next service

    REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS:
    Holiday (payment in full is charged, no refunds)
    0-48 hrs. (payment in full is charged, no refunds)
    2-7 days (50% of deposit is refunded)
    8+ days (80% of deposit is refunded)
