Martina Muller- Martina was born in Germany 50 years ago and loves sharing her life with dogs and people. After devoting the last 20 years to teaching high school and raising a son she studied Small Animal Massage and canine behavior. She teaches German part time at the Bend Waldorf School. In her free time she likes to read, garden, hike and kayak. Martina is in charge of scheduling, budgeting, and outreach at Kindred Spirit. She loves giving tummy rubs, hiking, and feeding her canine guests healthy food. See recipe for Kindred Spirit Doggy Stew.
Amber Thorne- Amber has spent most of her life caring for people and animals. She joined us in 2010. She is a seasoned day care provider, preschool teacher, and has owned her own cleaning business. Amber brings a sense of cheer, warmth and cleanliness to Kindred Spirit. She is often ably assisted by her 13 year old son Jeremy who loves dogs and cats as much as we do.
Neil Wesner - Martina’s husband Neil consideres himself, not only the "head wrangler" of dogs, but also the "surrogate doggie- dad" of all. He is in charge of maintenance, daily hikes and brings a sense of order to Kindred Spirit. His passions are adventuring in the outdoors, gardening and dog-related activites. Neil is a former Master Gardener and very good at nurturing all living things.
